Description About the Job
Amazon’s Catalog Quality Operations team is looking for talented and motivated candidates to help audit and remediate our retail catalog data.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate good analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
In addition, applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Follow predefined procedures, guidelines, and SOPs to perform audit tasks with a high degree of accuracy and productivity.
Main responsibility
The ability to make sound decisions when performing audit tasks, even when the information provided is unclear.
Report the results of the evaluation and communicate them to others in the organization.
Approve or disapprove audit entries based on predefined instructions and explain the rationale behind the approval/rejection decision.
Review authoritative sources for catalog data validation if necessary.
Browse the website and use the search box to search for products.
Review the Amazon catalog for quality content based on predefined guidelines and SOPs.
Check product details carefully to ensure data is correct and complete.
Analyze data and identify new trends/patterns. Identify common test and navigation patterns to translate into guidelines and SOPs to improve overall test results.
Provide feedback to streamline existing processes to help the team achieve more consistent, high-quality results.
Work with project teams to write and test new SOPs for new audit and data quality management tasks.
Must be flexible to meet business requirements and work with high priority/visibility English content for other markets like US, UK and India.
The job role does not involve basic translation on a regular basis, but business requirements may involve short text translation activities when needed.
Excellent oral/written communication in English.
Must be proficient in communicating independently both in writing and orally with stakeholders/customers as required.

Basic qualifications
Applicants must have graduated in any stream. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Diploma
0-24 months working experience in online retail or similar fields.
Fluent in American English. Solid working knowledge of basic computer applications such as MS Word and MS Excel, Outlook.
Solid experience in web research and familiarity with the different methods used to find information –
Good data analysis skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of the online retail industry (e-commerce) and internet search
Willing to work on sensitive issues, including but not limited to: – Adult content – Religious and philosophical sensitive issues – Alcohol, tobacco, weapons and potentially harmful products other annoying ability.
