Sbi is offering a land purchase Scheme for small, marginal, and landless people as many people have moved from cities to their home town due to this pandemic.
Indian Largest bank SBI is offering a new scheme so that landless people can buy agriculture land and develop their home town, this New scheme launched by SBi is called the SBI land purchasing scheme.
This scheme is also applicable to take loan to buy agricultural land for salaried. The major benefit of this land purchase scheme is you need to pay only 15% of the total cost of the land. The Sbi land purchase scheme interest rate is very minimal compared to other loans.

Both Landless people and people with land can apply for this scheme, If you have 5 Acers of Unirrigated land or if you have 2.5 Acers of irrigated land you are eligible to get Sbi’s land purchase scheme on your own name. Also, those who do not have an land or farm can also apply.
Borrowers should have a minimum of 2 years record of loan repayment.
If you have taken a loan from other banks and paid it on time then also you can apply for a loan in SBI.

Benefits of sbi land purchase Scheme
If you take a loan under this scheme, you will also get a Holiday Payment Benefit without paying any money for one to two years.
Downpayment of Land will only be 15% of the total cost
Registration charges & stamp duty will be by SBI.
The mortgage of land to be purchased will be by SBi.
SBi. also provides the Provision of irrigation facilities & land development (shall not exceed 50% of the cost of the land).
